Oncology Nurse Opportunity As a highly skilled oncology nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering world-class care to patients with cancer. Job Summary: This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced oncology nurse to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering patient-centered care. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care to oncology patients, including administering medications, managing symptoms, and coordinating treatment plans. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. Monitor and report any changes in patient condition, and participate in high-risk situation response as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, including diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination. Required Skills and Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Current Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. At least 1 year of experience in oncology nursing or a related field.
