Our culture is rooted in purpose, and every team member plays a part in making a positive impact - because when it comes to caring for people, we're all in.Description:Under the direction of the Radiation Oncologists and general supervision of the Medical Physicists, the primary role of the dosimetrist is to initiate and see-through the treatment planning process for external beam proton treatment plans. Additionally, the medical dosimetrist will, on occasion, aid in special procedures and brachytherapy treatment planning. As the program develops, the dosimetrist will also provide training to dosimetrists, physicists, radiation oncologists and affiliate trainees in dosimetry, supports and adheres to BHSF safety and compliance program to include OSHA, HIPAA and the Code of Ethics.Qualifications:Degrees:Bachelors.Licenses & Certifications:MDCB Certified Medical Dosimetrist.Additional Qualifications:Bachelors degree in a physical science or RTT and a graduate of a formal, JRCERT dosimetry program.A M.Sc.is preferred.Direct dosimetry experience and Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) certified required.RTT experience from an accredited radiation therapy technology program is preferred.Experience with multiple treatment planning platforms, excellent communication skills, and leadership skills is preferred.Minimum Required Experience: 5 years.Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in pencil beam scanning (PBS) proton therapy using RayStation TPS.EOE, including disability/vets
