Airy & Danville, VAOverview:Compleat KiDZ, a company focused on enhancing the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder, seeks dedicated Licensed Psychologist (LP) team members. As part of our multi-disciplinary approach, you'll conduct psychological assessments for children with developmental disabilities, particularly autism. Apply now and be a vital part of our compassionate team.Duties and Responsibilities:Providing psychological assessment of children identified with developmental differences between the ages of 2 and 10 for diagnostic clarification. Assessments would be used to develop intervention treatment plans for ABA therapy and school intervention if appropriate.Providing overall psychological guidance of intervention program for children in center-based ABA programSupplying parent training for children in treatment programs.Providing family therapy or individual therapy for children/siblings if needed to support the intervention treatment plan.Networking with adjunct treatment providers, i.e., ancillary health and medical professionals and school personnel.Furnishing training to staff and families on Applied Behavior Analysis and developmental disability issuesCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSKnowledge Skills & AbilitiesEducation & Qualifications:Master or doctoral degree from an APA accredited Clinical, Counseling or School Psychology program. (Graduate training in ABA would be an asset.)Clinical Psychologist with Active North Carolina License or Provisional license in Clinical Psychology.School Psychologist with Current Certification from National Association of School PsychologistPhysical Demands:Some children display physically aggressive behavior.
