Licensed Practical Nurse

The primary purpose of this position is to provide overall supervision of the nursing unit and supervision of nurse aide staff on the unit. Additionally, this position provides direct resident care, including; but not limited to, overseeing administration of medications and treatments, entering feedings, maintaining clinical records, implementation of individual resident plan of care, monitoring resident conditions, notification of resident family and physicians regarding incidents and conditions as appropriate, assisting physicians in making rounds if requested, reviewing physician orders and treatment administration at least monthly or as assigned per facility policy, conducting head to toe skin assessments, resident admissions, transfers and discharges. This position ensures resident assignments of other personnel are completed and assists all nursing department personnel with problems related to care issues, supervises or completes shift assignment, gives report to oncoming shift charge nurse and ascertains that all facility policies and procedures related to nursing are followed._If you are conscientious, caring, detail-oriented, and a team-player, come join our Baptist Life Communities' team!
