*Adventist HealthCare is hiring a Mammography Technologist for our Outpatient Imaging Services in Rockville, MD. *Qualified candidates will be eligible for *up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus*. (/*Current AHC employees not eligible - see below under additional details.)As a Mammography Technologist you will:* Performs mammography procedures on scheduled shifts, operates mammography equipment.* Provides care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.* Provides patient/family or caregiver education and counseling in recognition and solution of physical, emotional, and environmental health problems.* Maintains open and positive communication with staff, physicians, and other departments.* Instructs, supervises, and evaluates student technologists.* Presents a positive image to community and professional contacts.* Promotes professionalism with the department, hospital, and community; acts as a role model.* Demonstrates proficiency in performing all exams according to protocol. *Maintains the physical environment of the department in a clean, well-stocked, orderly manner.*Qualifications include:* High School Diploma or GED required* Must be registered as a Mammography Technologist by the A.R.R.T./NMTCB* Licensed by the State of Maryland* Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required* At least two years of experience in mammography required* Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner.* Ability to input data into the computer, and analyze data as requested.Work Schedule:Monday- Friday 8:00am- 4:30pm_Current AHC employees are not eligible for a sign-on bonus who are transferring from one entity to another and/or transferring within their entity. Employees that have terminated their employment with AHC are not eligible for a sign-on bonus prior to six months of returning if hired for a position offering a sign-on bonus._Pay Range:$34.58 - $51.87In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount or if the position is Per Diem (offering a fixed rate), salary discussions will occur during the screening process.*At Adventist HealthCare our job is to care for you.
