Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Position: Facilities Maintenance SpecialistLocation: Chesterfield, MOReports to: Administrative ManagerAbout Us:Automotive Product Consultants (APC) provides an array of services in the automotive industry. Our core service, the APC Follow-Up Program, is a proven system that provides dealerships with a second opportunity to sell sales and service customers F&I products after they have left the dealership.Principal Purpose of Position:The Facilities Maintenance Specialist for APC will be charged with the daily upkeep and cleaning of our main office building and will perform minor preventative maintenance.Fulltime Position: Monday through Friday, Hours VaryDuties and Responsibilities:· Maintain office cleanliness, including daily cleaning of floors, conference and meeting rooms, offices, trash removal from all departments/offices, clean and sanitize bathrooms and break areas.· Set up/tear down of cube(s), and cleaning vacated cubes in preparation for new hires.· Put together and set up office furniture/equipment.· Refill paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in dispensers.· Disinfect and dust furniture, equipment, and a flat surfaces.· Clean windows (interior), windowsills, ledges, door frames/trim, baseboards.· Ensure building exterior and grounds are picked up and clean.· Perform minor maintenance of building (change air filters, light bulb, paint touch up, wall repair, etc.)· Report maintenance needs and repairs to supervisor.· Operate manual and power janitorial equipment.· Perform deep cleanings bi-annually of full facility.· Stock custodial closets and keep orderly.· Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:· Perform essential functions of the job satisfactorily· Maintain a positive attitude and excellent work ethic· Reliable· Can work alone or as part of a team· Ability to lift and carry 50lbsPhysical RequirementsCommercial cleaning requires extensive walking, standing, bending, lifting (up to 50lbs), stretching, pushing and pulling.
