We are looking for passionate individuals to join our team and contribute to our mission.We are looking for a *Sterile Processing Supervisor *to support our Overnight Shift at a STERIS owned and operated facility.Join us as a *Sterile Processing Supervisor (Overnight Shift)* and make a real impact. You'll provide dynamic on-site support, training, and communication for the reprocessing of surgical instruments and trays, while ensuring compliance with top industry standards coordinating and managing the day-to-day operations of our dedicated SPD team.*Key Responsibilities:*· *Operational Excellence:* Oversee and support daily operations related to the decontamination, cleaning, assembly, wrapping, sterilization, and storage of reusable medical supplies and instrumentation.· *Team Leadership:* Coordinate and manage the day-to-day activities of the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) employees, ensuring adherence to professional standards and regulations.· *Training & Development:* Work with Manager and Educators to support new employee orientation, training, and quality assurance programs.· *Lean Environment:* Promote and implement Lean work environment concepts to enhance efficiency and productivity.· *Professional Communication:* Maintain professional verbal and written communication with Customers and STERIS Associates.· *Quality Assurance:* Ensure proper care and handling of all hospital property, including instrumentation, durable medical equipment, and disposable supplies.· *Problem Resolution:* Provide timely resolution to facility issues or concerns.· *Scheduling:* Assist the Manager with staff assignments and monthly schedules.*Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed:*· *Education:* High School Diploma or GED required.· *Experience:* Minimum of three years of experience in a Sterile Processing Department, including at least one year in a leadership position.· *Skills:* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel. Experience with an instrument tracking system is preferred.· *Certification:* Active certification in sterile processing/central sterile via CBSPD or HSPA/IAHCSMM required.
