Requisition ID: 43653Job Location(s):Tallahassee, FL, USEmployment Type: Full TimeSegment: Danfoss Climate Solutions SegmentJob Function: Supply Chain and OperationsWork Location Type: On-siteJob DescriptionMaterial Handler performs duties to ensure the timely and proper movement of material in the warehouse to the production floor, between building locations, and outside raw material locations to support production, engineering, and customer orders. The duties will include inventory consolidation, picking/packing orders in our shipping department, putting away stock and replenishing locations. Unloading and loading trucks. Package, ship and receive orders via UPS, DHL, Federal Express, Airborne, conventional air and common LTL carriers.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.o Maintain accurate control and location of stock movement.o Assist in daily disbursement of raw material to the manufacturing floor.o Maintain FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and accurate cycle counts.o Coordinate material movements with 3rd party logistics companies including rail providerso Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and orderly workplace.o Understanding and complying with quality policy, procedures and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals and environmental well-being.Background & SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
