A nonprofit organization in NYC is currently seeking a new Residential Manager to join their growing team in Brooklyn. In this role, the Residential Program Manager will be responsible for performing managerial and administrative tasks to ensure that the ICF is operating according to current regulations, and that all clients are receiving risk appropriate care.About the Opportunity:Schedule: Tuesday thru SaturdayHours: FLEX (alternating schedule)10am-6pm,11am-7pm or 12p-8pmPatient Population: Developmentally Disabled Population, AdultsResponsibilities:The Residential Program Manager will:Perform managerial and administrative tasks to ensure that the ICF is operating according to current regulations, and that all clients are receiving risk appropriate careCoordinate the activities of the shift and determine priorities as directed or required to ensure consumer safetyAssist in supervising the functions and activities of the Direct Care CounselorsHelp plan community inclusion activitiesEnsure meals are planned for following shift and ingredients are set outFunction independently in times of facility coverage including responsibility for appropriate action in crisis situations and medical emergencies per agency procedurePrepare documentation and written reports per agency requirementsPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:Bachelor's Degree (will consider someone without a Bachelor's Degree if they have extensive experience in field)Familiar with and the required certification in AMAP and SCIP, CPR and First AidComputer savvyMicrosoft Office proficientGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organizedDesired Skills:Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field
