Since our founding by 10 physicians in 1949, we have grown and evolved to meet the needs of Boulder County and beyond.We currently have clinics located in Boulder (2 locations), Louisville, Longmont, and Erie.Summary:Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is seeking general maintenance and handyman candidates to join our Facilities team! This position is benefit eligible working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday and on call rotations.Job Perks:Full-time employees are eligible for medical / dental / vision, flexible spending, company-paid life insurance, as well as several voluntary benefit options, RTD EcoPass, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) and six (6) paid holidays annually.Day shift schedules.Job Duties:Installs, repairs or replaces the following in accordance with industry/trade standards:Minor Electrical, Plumbing, Heating, Ventilation, and Air ConditioningPaintingCarpets and FlooringFinishes and DetailsIrrigation SystemsPerforms scheduled preventive maintenance on all building emergency and environmental systems. Records all usual and unusual operations of that equipment in maintenance records. Detects and initiates corrective maintenance as needed.Maintains grounds and parking lots to ensure a safe environment and a uniformly neat and clean appearance. Keeps sidewalks and driveways free of snow, ice, and other hazards.Minimizes waste in all areas of work by preplanning, pooling resources, coordinating materials procurement with co-workers, and minimizing interruptions.Performs on call duties at all BMC sites as assigned.Experience and Skills:On the job training provided to enhance and build the skill sets requiredComputer literate with demonstrated working knowledge of programs such as MS Outlook, Word and Excel.Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as documentation and organizational skills.Must demonstrate initiative in establishing priorities and working with little supervision.Requires strong problem-solving skills.Education:High school diploma or equivalent.Experience:Minimum 1 -3 years of experience performing semi-skilled maintenance work in the areas of carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC.Previous healthcare basic building maintenance experience, highly desired.Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to respond to after hours and weekend emergency calls to all sitesThe starting hourly pay range for this position is commensurate with experience:$22.88 - $28.60/hour (full pay range $22.88 - $33.32)This position will be posted for Three (3) days and subsequently until filled.Location:Boulder, COFrom: Boulder Medical Center
