Job title-Physical TherapistLocation-Haxtun, CO 80731Duration-13 weeksShift-Days(5/*8)Job description-Schedule: Days, M-F, Weekends and evenings may be necessary for new inpatient evalsPhysical Therapist• Evaluates, plans, organizes, and participates in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, improve, or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.• Plans and participates in community wide out-reach and preventative programs and markets services effectively.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Qualifications:• Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (MSPT or DPT).• Current license as a Physical Therapist in the State of Colorado.• Basic Life Support (BLS).Preferred Qualifications:• 3 (three) years' experience in inpatient and outpatient setting.• Trigger Point Dry Needling certification.*Responsibilities** Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations.* Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.* Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to enhance recovery.* Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols and home care strategies.* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.* Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.* Stay updated with advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.*Requirements** Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of practice.* Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and rehabilitation principles.* Experience in home community care, home health, hospital settings, or acute care preferred.* Familiarity with both inpatient and outpatient therapy practices.* Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.* Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.Job Type: ContractPay: $3,100.00 - $3,106.00 per weekSchedule:* Day shiftWork Location: In person
