You will be tasked with overseeing all clinical reimbursement functions, ensuring compliance with Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and maximizing revenue outcomes through expert-level MDS and RAI utilization. $3000 per week travel/stipend packages are available for travel candidates if temporary relocation is required. $500 referral reward available for successfully placed referrals who work 100+ hours.*Director of Clinical Reimbursement Responsibilities:*• Lead clinical reimbursement initiatives and manage MDS compliance• Educate staff on RUGs, PPS, case mix, and clinical documentation requirements• Monitor reimbursement trends and payer denials; implement improvement plans• Chair triple-check meetings and generate reporting dashboards• Oversee managed care authorization processes and appeals• Conduct audits of MDS assessments and mentor MDS Coordinators*Director of Clinical Reimbursement Qualifications:*• Active *NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license*• *RAC-CT certification* (required)• *MDS experience* (required)• Bachelor's or Master's degree in healthcare or a related field• 3-5 years of experience in long-term care, including 2+ years in reimbursement and leadership rolesFor more information about Atlas Search and other roles we currently have available for *nursing professionals*, visit Type: Full-timePay: $95.00 per hourSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shiftApplication Question(s):* What email and phone number should the employer use to contact you?* Do you have MDS experience?* Do you have your RAC-CT certification?Work Location: In person
