He/she represents the technical aspects of the product and proposes how these aspects can benefit the customer and how specific problems can be solved. The Technical sales Representative/Specialist will act as the "encyclopedia" or "field consultants" in the sales process, and therefore plays an important role, staying up to date with the latest developments and breakthroughs, and who can pass this vital knowledge on to others.More Specifically his/her task consist of:Technical Support for Regional sales managers to transfer required technical information to the customersDirect contact with the customers to follow their needs;Assess the feasibility of custom projectsDevelop conceptual solutions to meet customer demands;Research, design, analyze and recommend various technical solutions;Assist customers and Quotations in providing cost and time estimates for custom projects;Helping customers with designing custom parts/products etc;Transfer market data to the marketers, product developers, and executives to help create sales strategies;Using ERP software to achieve details about products and follow the parts and assemblies and other technical information as request by the clients;Research and evaluate new technologies to potentially implement into new products.required qualificationsA bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field;A minimum of 2 years experience in lighting industry and sales or marketing;Strong interpersonal and communication skills orally and in writing;The ability to identify and follow up on leads;Good knowledge of Inventor (Part design, Assemblies, Drawings) and PDM systemsTechnical Problem solving skillsThe ability to work in a team environmentKnowledge of sales promotion techniques;A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel extensively;Strong technical understanding of the complexities of the company supplies.WE OFFERA competitive base salary;A comprehensive group insurance program;Access to 24/7 telemedicine;Group RRSP with employer participation;Additional paid vacation for the holiday season;Annual sick and/or personal leave days;Hybrid work mode (2 days of teleworking and 3 days in the office);Training and Professional Development paid by the employer;The opportunity to work with an extraordinary team;Basketball court and backyard with BBQ;Unlimited coffee and smoothies;Parking space provided as needed;Stimulating challenges and opportunities for advancement.Contact:
