With a newly expanded surgical and clinical facility, a supportive administration, and access to Epic EMR, this practice setting is ideal for PMHNPs seeking autonomy, collaboration, and a mission-driven community.Job Responsibilities of the PMHNP:Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and mental health treatment for a diverse rural patient population.Collaborate closely with an integrated team of psychiatrists, LCSWs, and care coordinators to develop individualized care plans.Average 14-17 patients per day with scribe support for those seeing 15+ patients.Work four 10-hour days per week for optimal work-life balance.Participate in 1:16 phone-only call rotation.Maintain accurate records and treatment plans using Epic EMR.Educate patients and families on mental wellness, medication adherence, and supportive resources.Refer patients as needed to internal specialists or community-based support services.Minimum Qualifications:Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).Must hold or be eligible for Oregon state licensure.Minimum 1+ year of PMHNP experience (no new grads at this time).Strong clinical skills in outpatient behavioral health, including medication management and patient education.Comfortable working in a rural setting and engaging with patients from a variety of backgrounds.Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team-oriented care model.Compensation & Benefits Highlights:Total earning potential of $145K+ annuallyIncludes RVU production bonus and quality incentives (up to $10K/year)$15,000 commencement bonus$8,000 annual CME/licensing/dues allowance + paid CME timeStudent loan assistanceFull relocation assistanceComprehensive benefits + 401(k) matchPaid malpractice coverageDiscover a Community That Matches Your LifestyleLocated just outside Island City in Northeast Oregon, this position offers access to top-rated outdoor recreation year-round.
