Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM*DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS*:· Level 1 Trauma· Certified Stroke Center· 4 Procedure Rooms· Self-scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational candidate career growth.· Fast-Paced, high volume· Engaged Leadership Team· Engaged Physicians*HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL NEED:**Education:*· Associate degree in applied science *required *OR· Completion of accredited program in radiologic or cardiovascular technology required OR· High School Diploma or Equivalent with 2 years of work experience in invasive cardiology required.*Experience:*· 1-year radiologic technician experience w/out ARRT required or· No experience w/ ARRT*Licenses and Certifications:*· ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist upon hire *required *or· RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist upon required or· RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist upon hire or· CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist if ARRT upon hire and· BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and· ACLS"”Advanced Cardiac Life Support"”within 90 days required*SKILLS:*· Imaging Quality and Processing:· Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to exam.· Performs complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations.· Assists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique.· Correctly sends and transfers images to PACS.*Entity Highlights*For more than a half-century, Texas Health Dallas has been at the forefront of health care in North Texas.
