The Staff Accountant is organized, efficient, adaptable, and able to lean into multiple areas of accounting.Please note that this is an onsite position at our Fort Wayne, IN location.What you will do:• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.• Reconcile bank and other balance sheet accounts.• Support month-end close by rolling forward and maintaining balance sheet reconciliation schedules.• Collaborate with internal partners to accomplish other elements of month-end close.• Obtain, reformat, organize and file schedules from auction management systems.• Assist with audits by providing necessary financial documentation and reports.• Maintain and update accounting files, ensuring compliance with company policies.• Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivables tasks• Reconcile cash clearing accounts to ensure accuracy of payment application processes.• Support and maintain the payment processes that adhere to internal controls and external expectations.• Perform additional duties as assigned.What you will need:• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.• 2+ years of experience in accounting, involving reconciliations and other month-end close responsibilities.• Strong working knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.• Proficiency in multiple accounting platforms (e.g.: QuickBooks and NetSuite).• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.No immigration or work visa sponsorship will be provided for this position.#Ind123KWOur ValuesTrust & Transparency | People First | Positive Experiences | Calm Persistence | Never SettlingAt ACV, we are committed to an inclusive culture in which every individual is welcomed and empowered to celebrate their true selves.
