Muir Orthopaedic Specialists, OrthoNorCal and Webster Orthopedics have joined forces to become Golden State Orthopedics & Spine (GSOS). Now, GSOS represents one of the largest orthopedic surgical practices in the Western United States.We are looking for an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner to work with one of our Total Joint Orthopedic Surgeons. Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners at our practice work in a care team one on one with a surgeon. This role will predominantly involve hip and knee replacement and revision surgery, OrthoBiologics such as stem cell and PRP injections.Job Duties Include:The PA may perform delegated functions as appropriate to their "scope of practice" under the direction and supervision of the physician.Performing direct and indirect general orthopedic care.Performing admission evaluation of new patients, obtains medical historyPerforming physical exams and reporting into patient's medical recordAssisting in performing office-based proceduresFor surgical PA positions, may serve as first assist to supervising physicianMay take call for patients under the supervision of a physicianLooking for an Experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant!Our Benefits Include:Collaborative and friendly work environmentFull coverage for Employee PPO Medical insurance401k and Profit-Sharing ProgramPaid Vacation, Floating Holidays, Regular Holidays, Sick TimeEmployee Discount ProgramsQualifications:Must have excellent verbal, written and computer skillsPrevious EMR experience, NextGen a plusKnown to have strong interpersonal skills with patients and work colleaguesDesire to expand medical knowledge and technical skillsDisciplined and hard-workingExperience:2-3 year's experience preferredPrevious EMR experience appreciated but not essential: Epic, Cerner and/or NextGenStrong basic medical knowledgeWe will teach you everything you need to know about orthopedic medicineLicense/Certification:Licensed as a Physician Assistant by the Medical Board of California and the Physician Assistant Examining CommitteeLicensed as a Nurse Practitioner with Surgical First AssistCurrent DEA licenseBLS certificationPay Range:$135,000 to $160,000 per Year, plus productivity bonusing quarterly*Higher compensation may be available for someone with advanced skills and/or experienceJoin our team to help us care for our community together!Apply directly by sending your application to
