As an Escrow Closer, you'll coordinate all aspects of real estate closings, ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely transactions. If you have a strong understanding of settlement statements, closing disclosures, and document recording, this role may be a perfect fit for you!Why You'll Love This Role:Lead closings by managing the entire closing process from start to finish.Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders, attorneys, realtors, and buyers/sellers.Stay organized while managing critical documentation, deadlines, and compliance.Collaborate on business development strategies to expand agency success.Work on-site and conduct closings at various locations.What You'll Do:Closing CoordinationCoordinate all aspects of closings to ensure smooth transactions.Prepare and review settlement statements and closing disclosures.Process loan packages received from lenders.Balance closing files and prepare necessary closing documents.Ensure timely disbursement of funds, deposits, and checks.Conduct offsite closings as necessary.Perform quality assurance reviews on files to ensure accuracy.Document RecordingCoordinate document recording via mail, delivery, or electronic submission.Verify and process recording fees and checks payable to Clerk's Office.Follow up with Recorder's Office to confirm the status of recorded documents.Business Development & GrowthWork alongside the Agency Operations Manager to enhance profitability and efficiency.Develop and maintain relationships with lenders, attorneys, builders, and realtors.Collaborate on business development plans and strategies to increase referral networks.Monitor market trends to stay informed about key industry players and competitors.What We're Looking For:Minimum 2 years of experience in real estate closings and settlement file processing.Strong understanding of Closing Disclosures and settlement processes.Experience with settlement production software (SoftPro is a plus).Ability to review, analyze, and process real estate transaction documents.Strong organizational and deadline-management skills.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Recognized as an industry leader, Investors Title Insurance Company provides residential and commercial title insurance and innovative business solutions for our partners.
