Day.Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a SUPERVISOR- BREAST HEALTH to join our BREAST HEALTH CENTER team!Breast Health Supervisor will lead the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of services within the Breast Health Program, ensuring excellence in patient care. Collaborates with department leaders and Radiologists to proactively address challenges and drive improvements. Partners with the Manager and Radiology Medical Director to set and achieve meaningful departmental goals. Establishes high standards and empowers staff to meet them, fostering a culture of quality and collaboration. Promotes strong communication within the Breast Health Program and maintains seamless coordination with management to support success.HOURS: Full Time 1.0 FTE, 80 Hours every two weeks; no call or weekend shiftsRequired Education & CertificationsStrong communication abilities, both verbal and written, including proficiency in coaching, enrolling, counseling, and mentoring staff.Analytical skills to efficiently apply knowledge of breast imaging techniques, oversee day-to-day operations, ensure optimized scheduling, and interpret cross-sectional anatomy for high-quality imaging.Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients experiencing physical or emotional stress, provide leadership, and maintain cooperative relationships across hospital departments.Previous supervisory experience preferredA minimum of three years of clinical experience as a Mammographer to refine and enhance skills.Required ExperienceStrong understanding of radiology standards and procedures related to mammography, typically acquired through graduation from an approved radiology school or an Associate Degree in Radiology.Meets FDA Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) requirements.ARRT (R) certificationCurrent BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
