Entry Level Maintenance TechFirst Shift: Monday- Friday 8 AM-4 PM must be able to work up to 10 hours OT weekly$25-28/hourDescription of the Position:The Maintenance Mechanic position requires a skilled maintenance mechanic to inspect and repair material handling equipment and minor building repairs. Will follow corporate and site- specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. In addition, the candidate will observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.Responsibilities:Regular inspection of all electrical and power units of a facility.Detecting malfunctions and defects in electrical systems and vehicle engines and repairing the sameEnsuring the compliance of all corporate policies and the Occupational Safety and health administration rules (OSHA) while conducting work functionsProficient in computer maintenance management systems. (CMMS)Maintaining a record of service cycles and other maintenance activities conductedProficient in completing preventative maintenance tasks to standard.Efficiently managing time and completing all tasks assigned by the supervisory authority.Reporting damages, defects and other issues pertaining to electrical/mechanical units to the supervising manager.Placing orders for spare and replacement parts and completing all necessary documentation for the same.Appropriately using and handling all electrical/mechanical repair and testing tools and equipmentLight building maintenance repairs.
