SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking an experienced Field Property General Adjuster. You will play a vital role in providing outstanding customer experience by leveraging investigative and estimation skills to handle large and complex commercial property claims, as well as large homeowners property claims. You will travel to loss sites to conduct damage and coverage assessments and, work with key vendors on loss assessments, prepare large and complex estimates of all damages, and manage all aspects of these large and complex claim files. As a member of the Commercial Property Claims team, you will have a significant impact on some of our largest insureds, assisting them in getting them back to pre-loss condition. If you're interested in joining our growing Claims team, we'd love to hear from you.What you'd be doing:Manage, oversee, scope and estimate large and complex commercial claims and large homeowners claims.Investigate and evaluate coverage and damage issues, communicating your findings to customers.Manage and oversee other components of these large and complex commercial and homeowners claims, including but not limited to Business Personal Property loss, Business Income Loss, Homeowners Content loss and Homeowners Loss of use/Loss of rent.Manage Personal Lines files from initiation to closure, including comprehensive coverage analysis and evaluation of all loss exposures, with specific attention to Coverage A (Loss Exposure), Coverage B (Other Structures), Coverage C (Personal Property), and Coverage D (Loss of Use).Handle all aspects of Commercial losses, including:Building damage claims, with potential loss exposures more than $2 million on large commercial structures.Handle complex Business Personal Property losses, including providing assistance and support documenting business inventories.With support of accounting resources, handling complex business interruption claims that require review and analysis of business reports, accounting documents, payroll reports, etc.Partner with the business owners, CEO's and other business executives in the handling and investigation of the claim. This will include demonstrating a highly technical knowledge of the Commercial BOP and CPP policies.Partner with external parties (contractors, public adjusters, attorneys, etc.) and internal business partners to handle complex claims.Identify suspicious losses, recommending SIU review and assist in such investigations, when necessary.Handle claims in compliance with all applicable regulations and internal processes.Support catastrophe response as needed, to include potential overtime and deployment.Any other duties needed to help drive our purpose and fulfill our valuesWe're looking for someone who has:5+ years of field property claims experienceClaims Connect/Symbility estimating experience, including personal lines and commercial line large loss estimationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational abilitiesEmpathetic interpersonal skillsAdjuster licensed in home state or holds a non-resident license if license not required; meets requirements for licensing in additional states as neededAbility to travel to loss locations on short notice and spend the necessary time on site to scope and document damages, work with insureds on the claim process and manage all aspects of the claim file.Ability to perform detailed field inspections on large commercial properties and large homes in a timely fashion.Ability to utilize necessary equipment to perform inspections, including the use of ladders to climb and inspect all phases of these large structures.Highly preferred candidates also have:Commercial/Large/Complex loss estimating and claims handling experienceBachelor's degreeExperience in catastrophe-focused environmentsProfessional designationsAbout the Claims team at SageSure:On SageSure's Claims team, you'll be doing more than investigating and resolving losses.
