IntroductionAre you our new Quality Supplier Manager, who will engage our suppliers to drive for Zero-Defects and the next level of Supplier Quality Performance? Then the job of Quality Supplier Manager might be something for you!The Quality Supplier Manager (QSM) works in the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement department representing ASML's Quality logistics interface to its supply base, responsible for the Material Availability for our ASML factories.With today's complex multi-tier supply chains, this is only possible by creating full transparency in the chains and flexibility at suppliers. Here over 100 chains are managed up to seven tiers deep, addressing potential bottlenecks and supply risks before they impact our customers. It must handle the increased complexity of ASML's systems while reducing cost of ownership for customers.To do this, the supply chain- and logistics engineers work with suppliers to continuously reduce cycle times for components, modules and assemblies, increasing supply chain flexibility and customer value.The department also monitors suppliers' quality, flexibility, cycle time reductions, move rate compliance and on-time delivery reliability, driving supplier development in all areas. This is to ensure ASML's supply keeps pace with technological developments and can adapt to changing market conditions.As a Quality Supplier Manager you are:Responsible for the management of Quality and Operational Performance of a selected number of Key Suppliers.The Quality interface between the supplier and ASML. You will work with suppliers and ASML Stakeholders to find structural solutions to Material Quality Non-Conformities. In this way driving the Business Process Improvements and managing and closing the loop with the ASML Stakeholders.Member of the multi-disciplinary Supplier Account Team, that strategically manages these Suppliers (SAT team) and is the point of contact for internal/external customers.Key focus Quality areas are Quality Management Systems, Operational Excellence, Quality Control, Complaint Handling, Configuration and Change Management.Main focus areas:Deployment of the Voice of the Customer throughout ASML, supplier and sub-tiersAnalysis of customer and factory quality notifications and development of problem-solving competenceWorking together with supplier in establishment and deployment of supplier quality roadmapSupply Chain Quality optimization and developmentDriving suppliers to a a pro-active and Zero Defects MindsetPerform (Business) Process ImprovementsManagement commitment to invest in safety, quality and sustainabilityEnable accelerated learningRole and responsibilitiesAs a QSM you manage your Suppliers' Performance on Product Quality. This according to specifications and in adherence to various quality agreements. You make sure that your supplier delivers and executes according to the existing agreements. If required, you drive changes in the Supplier Quality Management processes to ensure the future's quality of the product. You coordinate the Quality Steerco's together with the supplier.While using your knowledge in quality management, analytical thinking, professional network and excellent people skills, you will be responsible for the following:Quality Assurance: Improve supplier quality performance by driving execution of existing quality agreements and improvement actions by your Suppliers, as well as triggering internal actions for changes in product or process design to eliminate Material Notification (MN's) and Deviation Notifications (DN's)Participate in Supplier Audits to identify gaps in supplier quality management system against ASML Supplier Profile requirements. You manage the supplier to define and execute Improvement Plans to structurally resolve open items and de-risk the supplierCoaching the Supplier to use ASML designed systems (e.g. portals) and processes, procedures, quality tools and techniques to increase supplier maturity levelValidation and acceptance of Product Readiness (quality) to be released towards volume operationsEnsure execution of supplier related Issue Resolution: MN's, DN's, AIR (ASML Issue Resolution)Ensure that the definition and execution of the Supplier Quality Roadmap is in line with ASML quality performance ambitions*Leading quality escalations and organizing cross sector teams, including supplier, for solving disturbances in the factory and field, due to material quality*Education and experienceBachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline, with substantial experience in supply chain managementMinimum of 5 years of experience managing supplier quality performance, ideally within a complex, high-tech, low-volume industryDemonstrated background in quality improvement and operational excellence within a manufacturing environmentProven track record of contributing to improvement initiatives across the supply chainHands-on experience with quality auditing (e.g., ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent) and quality management toolsComfortable working in complex environments involving multiple stakeholdersSkillsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and extract actionable insightsExcellent communication and influencing abilities to drive change both internally and with suppliersProven track record in process improvement and optimization initiativesSkilled at managing complexity in dynamic environmentsAdept at balancing diverse stakeholder needs and expectationsCollaborative team player with a "one team, one goal" mindsetFocused on optimizing work processes for efficiency and effectivenessClear and effective communicator across all levels of the organizationOther informationThe organization you're working for consists of 30+ QSMs, 30+ LSMs (Logistics Supplier Managers) and 70+ OSCs (Operational Supplier Coordinators).Internal: As a member of the ASML Supplier Account Team (SAT) you work closely together with the Account/Sourcing Lead (AL), the Logistics Supplier Manager (LSM) and Technical Supplier Manager (TSM)/Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE).External: Quality management supplier counterparts and supplier managing directors.Stakeholders: Suppliers, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, Global Quality, Development & Engineering, Factory, Field representatives.This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
