The Advocacy & Resource Center is seeking a Part-Time, licensed Physical Therapist registered with the New York State Board of Licensure, with a passion for providing care to individuals with disabilities.*Duties & Responsibilities:** Conduct formal physical therapy assessments.Develop and oversee implementation of Physical Therapy programs.Promptly respond to special reviews and injury investigations.* Work within an Article 16 Clinic , following OPWDD guidelines.* Participate in team meetings and ensure accurate documentation of treatment.Implement and revise programs as needed for optimal patient outcomes.* Evaluate participants for wheelchairs and coordinate equipment repairs.Obtain prescriptions and write justification letters for durable medical equipment repairs.* Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and community agencies.*Requirements:*New York State Board of Licensure registration as a Physical Therapist.Minimum one year of experience in physical therapy, preferably with individuals with disabilities.A clean driving record.*Generous benefits package includes:** Shift differentials offered for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts* Health insurance* Dental and Vision insurance* Paid time off* Vacation time* Parental leave* Life Insurance* Cancer Insurance* Retirement plan with employer matchThe Advocacy and Resource Center qualifies as a public service loan forgiveness employer.The Advocacy and Resource Center is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer, disabled/veterans.Schedule:* Monday to FridayWork Location: In person
