With a global workforce of over 38,000 experts and 84 million square feet of facilities across over 400 sites, we're transforming logistics, and this is just the beginning!About the Role:As a Regional Warehouse Safety Manager, you will lead the safety and security strategy for multiple warehouses and or distribution sites within your assigned region. This role is responsible for implementing programs that reduce workplace injuries, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen the overall safety culture. You will partner closely with site leaders and the corporate safety team to identify risks, drive preventive measures, and serve as a key advisor and coach for local teams.Location: Remote with travel. Relocation assistance is not available for this role. Our selected internal or external candidate must live in the Chicago area.Work Schedule: Monday -Friday 8AM-5PM, other hours based on business needs for emergencies and urgent items that need immediate attentionTravel Specific: 50% travel and subject to change based on business needs as we develop new startup locations across multiple states and 10+ site across the mid-westCompetitive Compensation: Attractive annual salary $100,000- $115,000 plus bonus opportunity. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and educationKey Responsibilities:Lead the implementation of safety and security programs across assigned warehouse sitesCollaborate with the corporate safety team to align site activities with organizational goalsAdvise and support site leadership on best practices for accident and injury preventionEnsure compliance with all federal, state, local, and corporate safety regulationsConduct risk assessments, inspections, and audits; follow up on corrective actionsProvide hands-on support and guidance for site-level incident investigationsDeliver and evaluate safety training programs, and mentor new safety team membersRepresent the organization during inspections or audits by external regulatory bodiesAnalyze incident data and safety trends to identify improvement opportunitiesSupport the development and execution of safety-related budgets and capital planningPresent safety reports, updates, and initiatives to regional and corporate leadershipRequirements:Minimum Requirements:5+ years of progressive safety experience for multiple sites in warehousing, manufacturing, or distribution center industry is requiredBachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, environmental health, or related field in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma or equivalent plus relevant work experienceOur selected internal or external candidate must live in the Chicago area.Demonstrated experience managing multi-site safety or security initiativesProficient in OSHA and other regulatory safety standards (federal, state, and local)Experience leading incident investigations and developing corrective action plansStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levelsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Ability and willingness to travel 50% or morePreferred Qualifications:Professional safety certification (e.g., CSP, CHST, ASP)Experience in a 3PL or third-party logistics environmentProven track record of building safety programs from the ground upStrong analytical skills and experience with safety KPI dashboards or reporting toolsBilingual English/Spanish a plusHazwoper or DOT Hazmat training a plusExperience in creating and implementing emergency response procedures a plus#LI-BT1 #LI-ONSITE #IND123Req Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision-FSA/HSA programs available-401K with matching program-Vacation and sick time-Friendly and Open-Door culture
