We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Clinician (LGPC, LMFT, LMSW) to join our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic in Hyattsville, MD. Our OMHC provides traditional outpatient counseling and offers a wide range of mental health services, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and counseling. As a Clinical Coordinator, you will be a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, collaborating with medical prescribers to provide comprehensive mental health therapy to your patients. Our OMHC serves a diverse population with a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, trauma, schizophrenia, and other mental disorders. As one of the main mental health providers for your patients, you will play a critical role in our mission to improve lives in our community.**All LGPCs and LMSWs will receive free weekly supervision**Responsibilities:Under the direct supervision of the Clinical DirectorOversee the day-to-day operations for Healthy Transitions, Mobile Treatment Services, and Psychiatric Rehab Program, ensuring services are accessible, staff achieve productivity metrics, and complete all monthly reporting requirements.Supervises peer recovery specialist, including Mobile Treatment Services (MTS)/Psychiatric Rehab Specialist (PRP) Peer Support Specialists (PSS) and Healthy Transitions (HT) Transitions Coordinator by overseeing assessments, scheduling all patients into treatment activities, assigning caseloads, and monitoring and evaluating clinicians' performance.Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, including Psychosocial Assessments, and prepare assessment reports in a timely manner, consistent with iMind standards.Develop and implement initial and subsequent treatment plans for supportive counseling services that involve the client and their support system.Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions as outlined in the treatment plan, utilizing a strengths-based approach and best practice models.Develop a therapeutic relationship with the client's family and include them in the treatment process as necessary and appropriate.Interagency collaboration with other programs to ensure referrals to MTS/PRP/HT are accurate and complete for service to be rendered.Collaborate with community agencies and professionals to coordinate appropriate care.Evaluate whether your patients meets criteria for our other programs, such as the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP), and if so, promptly send in a timely referral.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, including progress notes, that comply with iMind policies and requirements.If provisionally licensed, participate in regular weekly supervision (LGPC, LMSW).Accrue continuing education hours to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge and stay up to date with the latest research and best practices in the field.Uphold ethical and professional standards in all aspects of your work and demonstrate a commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity in your interactions with patients and colleagues.Attend all necessary trainings, including training on how to write proper referrals.Attend all monthly meetings required for Healthy Transitions county grant, staff meetings, and actively engage by contributing observations and insight.Qualifications:A master's degree in counseling, or a human service-related field.Maryland license (LGPC, LGMFT, LMSW) issued by the board regulating one of the following disciplines: psychology, social work, or counseling.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a psychiatric rehabilitation specialist.Must have the ability to work independently.Must exhibit proficient knowledge of DSM-V diagnoses and treatment.Job Types: Full-timeWork Schedule:M/W/F On-Site 10AM - 7PMTues/Thursday 8:30AM - 5:30PM1 Administrative Day/Week Approved by CPOSalary: $75,000 - $85,000Benefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceFlexible schedule#ZR #IDPI273073223
