Tanner Pharma Group is seeking a dynamic Senior Accountant to join our growing global team based in Charlotte, NC.*Role Accountabilities *Expected Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant are:* Prepare and analyze financial reports, statements, and records. Ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and IFRS, while gaining exposure to complex financial scenarios.* Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes including reconciliation of Key Accounts, playing a crucial role in the financial health of the organization.* Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards in a complex contractual context including those required under ASC 606 and Net revenue recognition.* Monitor and reconcile accounts, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.* Suggest and implement improvements to financial controls, accounting policies, and procedures.* Utilize Oracle (NetSuite) for accounting and financial tasks.* Support budgeting and forecasting activities.* Collaborate with other departments, business units, and divisions to provide financial insights and support.* Assist with tax filings and regulatory reporting.* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.*Desired Candidate Profile & Capabilities *Required:* CPA certification is required.* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.* Minimum of 5 - 7 years of accounting experience.* Strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.* Expertise in financial consolidations and reporting.* Advanced skills in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred:* Experience in both public and private accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.* Experience in accounting for inventory and/or in a professional services environment highly valued.* Experience with international accounting practices and regulations* Process improvement and project management experience.* Documentation of Internal Controls in the execution of routine accounting cycles.* Experience with Consolidations and business combinations.* Proficiency in Oracle (NetSuite) is highly desirable.* Background in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, clinical trial, food and drug, or pharma distribution industry would be helpful.*Compensation & Benefits*· Salary commensurate with experience· 401K· Private health insurance.· Vacation, Volunteer, and paid sick leave.· Wellbeing supportCheck out to learn more about our company._*Tanner Pharma Group is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
