This position provides nursing care out of our Resident Care Clinic (RCC) to residents and responds to medical emergencies on campus.This is a part time position scheduled every other Saturday, 6p-6a Sundays with the option to pick up additional shifts.*Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an LPN:** Monitors nurse call station and responds accordingly.* Administers treatments when necessary, including but not limited to: First Aid, CPR, Eye Drops, vital signs, medication administration, etc.* Assists in direct resident care as necessary.* Maintains accurate documentation of resident visits to Resident Care Center and emergency situations.* Follows infection control standard precautions and safety policies per agency, state and federal regulations. Uses personal protective equipment as needed. Properly disposes of any contaminated waste materials.* Maintains confidentiality of all resident interactions* Performs assigned tasks during emergency events such as fire, electrical failure or natural disasters.* May drive company vehicle to escort residents.*Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:** Current nursing license valid in state worked* Valid driver license with satisfactory driving record* Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community_Porters Neck Village fully embraces a culture of hospitality.
