We are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team at our Brudnick Center for Living. We are a proud agency free facility.Position Summary: The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), alongside the Staff Development Coordinator (SDC), is responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing and directing the day-to-day functions of the department to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. In addition, this position is responsible for assessing the educational needs of our staff.Duties:Assist in determining staffing needs, screening, and interviewing.Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the Director of Nursing as necessary concerning the operation of the nursing service department.Assist in developing methods and systems for coordination of nursing services with other resident services to insure the continuity of the residents' total regimen of care.Ensure that the competence of all staff members is assessed, maintained and improved continually.Develop, manage, and evaluate department policies and procedures in accordance with current rules and regulations.Participate in annual surveys.Maintain regulatory compliance in accordance with state and federal guidelines.Work in partnership with the Director of Nursing to ensure quality, person-centered care.Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.Current RN licensure by the Massachusetts state board required.Three to Five years of progressively responsible Nursing role.Demonstrated leadership and communication skills within an interdisciplinary team environment.Strong organizational skillsExcellent skills in clinical assessment and management.Demonstrated proficiency in the use of electronic medical records, medication administration and scheduling systems.Sensitivity to customer service needs.Current BLS/CPR certification.Hours: Monday - Friday 9-5:30Benefits:Health and Dental insuranceRetirement PlanPTO (Paid Time Off)Paid HolidaysLife InsuranceCompetitive payFree groceriesApply today and become a part of the Brudnick Center for Living Team!For more information on this position text "Jobs" to 351-666-6337Chelsea Jewish Lifecare is an equal opportunity employer, veterans & disability.
