With over twenty years of experience, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate urologic care to our patients.*Summary*We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Urology Specialists of the Carolinas. In this role, you will be responsible for performing CT scans and ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.*Responsibilities*CT Technician duties may include:* Interpreting the orders provided by the physician or other prescribing medical professional* Using EMR to update patient medical records* Explaining what will happen during the CT scan to patients* Positioning patients properly to take the necessary images* Administering IVs that contain contrast dyes to enhance imaging* Updating patient medical information* Cleaning and maintaining CT scan equipment* Keeping inventory of CT scan supplies and making orders for supply restocks as required* Retreiving or sending scans to other facilities through PowerShare*Qualifications and Education Requirements ** High school diploma or general equivalency (GED),* Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position.* Deep familiarity with CT scan equipment* Basic knowledge of anatomy, biology, and chemistry and how to administer IVs* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.* Customer service-oriented with a friendly demeanor.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.*Preferred Skills** Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues with CT scan equipment performance* Strong oral communciation skills to field patients’ questions* Mathematics skills to assist with contrast administration* Computer skills to operate CT scan equipment and update medical records*Physical Demands ** This job may require sitting or standing for extended periods and occasional bending, lifting, and reaching.* Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Job Type: Full-timePay: $42.00 - $47.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Monday to Friday* No nights* No weekendsAbility to Commute:* Charlotte, NC 28204 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Charlotte, NC 28204: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
