We’re guided by deep research, innovative science, and rich customer feedback; and we’re inspired by creating cutting-edge solutions to push the pet care industry further.As the Manager of Pricing Strategy, you will drive profitable growth through price realization and value capture for NPPC Brand Portfolios (Cat, Dog, Litter/Treats.) You will influence and drive alignment around our pricing strategies and suggest areas of optimization. You will work cross-functionally with our Marketing Brand Teams, Finance, and our Sales Organization to drive the commercial strategy. A strong candidate can take an objective perspective on consumer behavior, retail dynamics and competitive landscape to make insight-driven recommendations and implement solutions across functions. Join our pack!Responsible for development of insight-based SRM strategies and recommendations on assigned portfolio (Cat, Dog, or Treats/Litter), including identifying opportunities and gaining cross-functional alignmentPerform Segment Strategy assessment of assigned portfolio to identify value capture opportunities based on pricing landscape and trends, attribute-value analysis, promotion analysis, and shared value (NPP margin vs retailer margin) evaluationUnderstand NPP brands within assigned portfolio/segment to identify brand-level opportunitiesLead cross-functional development of Brand Pricing Strategies to define each brand’s pricing strategy and identify issues and opportunities to lead to profitable growthLead structural pricing thinking on current & new products (retail/list/trade/margins)Lead cross-functional Price Pack Architecture work to uncover optimizations in price/size/attributes mixed within brands or channelsLead discussions with cross-functional stakeholders and influence optimizations to demand generation activityTeach and increase overall organizational awareness and proficiency of SRM principlesRequirementsBachelor's degree from an accredited institution required3+ years’ experience with pricing analytics, Trade/PFME (Product Fixed Marketing Expense) driven promotions and financial metrics requiredOtherStrong working knowledge of category, business or pricing analytics is preferredStrong working knowledge of Nielsen/IRI/Power Bi or other relevant syndicated data systems preferredThe approximate pay range for this position is $101,000 to $120,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
