In partnership with BridgePort Financial Solutions, we also provide integrated financial guidance to help clients optimize every aspect of their financial life.About the role:We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our relationship-focused firm and play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our clients, small businesses, and trust and estate clients. In this hands-on leadership role, you will act as a player-coach, managing the tax team while actively contributing to tax planning, review, and compliance. You will work closely with a diverse client base—including individuals, trusts, S-corporations, partnerships, and small-to-mid-sized C-corporations—providing personalized guidance and strategic insight.This role offers a unique opportunity for someone with public accounting experience who values long-term client relationships and is passionate about education and collaboration. If you're excited about the opportunity to make an impact and grow with a collaborative, client-focused team, we encourage you to apply—we’d love to connect with you.Essential Duties:In this role you will:Build relationships and lead client engagements, addressing tax implications of complex transactions, identifying opportunities for savings, identifying and mitigate tax risksAnalyze and prepare complex tax returns for a variety of client types and handle all information data requestsProvide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trustsManage the complete accounting and tax cycle for multiple high net worth clients across various industriesDeliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframeRepresent clients during IRS and state tax audits, offering comprehensive support and resolution strategies.Developing tax strategies to minimize liabilities and ensure complianceConducting research on tax laws and staying updated on changesCoordinate accounting staff and assess their performanceProviding guidance to junior tax staff and assisting in their professional developmentOversee the implementation of tax policies and internal procedures to ensure operational efficiency and consistency.Maintain tax balances on general ledgerEducation & Experience:The ideal candidate will possess an advanced level of experience with tax management, planning, compliance, laws - ideally with a proven track record in a leadership or supervisory role.Certificates & Licenses:Certified Public Accountant (CPA) orEnrolled Agent (EA) preferredPreferred Skills:Public Accounting experiencePreparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)Experience with trusts and estates is strongly preferredExcellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returnsKnowledge of QuickBooks, Lacerte, TPS, Adobe and MS OfficeCompensation: $115,000-$160,000. This range is a good faith estimate of the compensation to be offered for this position based on the ideal candidate’s qualifications, the Company’s operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
