Part-time, 72 hours/pay periodMonday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm with Wednesdays offMankato Clinic is looking for a Medical Assistant or LPN who will care for patients with compassion, empathy and respect to ensure our clinics are a welcoming and healing place. MAs and LPNs assist our physicians and providers with patient visits, greeting, rooming and educating patients, setting up for exams and procedures, taking vital signs, and documenting symptoms and histories while in a team based approach. Join a great team of providers and staff dedicated to caring for people.Key Job Duties:Assist providers in a team based approach by providing patient focused care to the entire providers practice.Assist providers and departments by maintaining an efficient daily operation, following a daily schedule, managing phones and communicating updates as need.Perform core nursing functions as needed for the department.Document patient data in Electronic Health Record system while in room with provider and gather histories. All data should be accurate, objective, timely and relevant to the patient’s care.Administer medications and/or immunizations in correct dosages as ordered using 8 Rights of Medication Administration. Distribute appropriate educational materials.
