This position offers a competitive weekly pay of $4,000 on a standard 5-day, 8-hour day shift schedule.*Job Description:*As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will provide expert patient care and assist physicians with a variety of interventional procedures, contributing to accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.*Responsibilities of the Interventional Radiologic Technologist:** Perform interventional radiology procedures such as angiography, embolization, biopsies, drainages, stent placements, and venous access procedures* Prepare patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout procedures* Operate imaging equipment and assist physicians in obtaining diagnostic images* Administer contrast agents and medications according to established protocols* Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate information for patient care* Maintain accurate medical records, documenting procedures and patient information* Comply with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practices* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects related to interventional radiology* Stay current on technological advancements and best practices in the field*Requirements:** BLS certification* ARRT certification* New York DOH License* Minimum of 1 year of interventional radiology or special procedures experience*Why Work in Rochester?*Rochester offers a great blend of urban amenities and natural beauty.
