Optometrist for Senior Care Visits

*Optometrist **1 Visit Weekly**The MedServ Group**Part Time Compensation*: $125.00 -$140.00 per hour, $40.00 -$45.00 per patient or 35%-40% of collections ($1050-$1200 per visit).The *MedServ Group* is a rapidly growing medical practice that provides residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities with top-of-the-line care. We are currently searching for a talented *Optometrist* to join our team! You will use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. The ideal *Optometrist *is confident, compassionate, and committed to delivering quality healthcare to the elderly population*Optometrist Responsibilities** Performing comprehensive eye exams.* Diagnosing and assisting in the treatment of ocular disease.* Prescribing corrective lenses or eye medications as needed.* Providing pre and post-operative care to surgical patients.* Promoting healthy vision by counseling and educating patients.*Optometrist Requirements** Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and active state license.* Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics.* Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.*General Information ** 7-8 hours visiting patients plus paperwork.* Schedule: Monday-Friday (typically 9:00AM-5:00PM).
