Sign On Bonus Available!As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Nystrom & Associates you will be an important part of a vibrant and dynamic outpatient mental health provider making important contributions to the mental health of our local communities. We are adding a compassionate and collaborative Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to the practice.Nystrom & Associates employs over 90 psychiatric providers (mix of Psychiatrists, APRNS, and Physician Assistants) as well as over 900 non-psychiatric staff who provide psychotherapy, DBT, psychological testing, neuropsychological testing, outpatient SUD services, day treatment, nutritional counseling and case management for adults and children.Responsibilities:Provide psychiatric diagnostic assessments, evaluates need for mediations, and prescribe as indicatedMakes urgent assessments of person in crisis, evaluating as appropriateProvide information with others involved in treatment planningAttend and participate in clinical staff meetings and consultationsMaster's or Doctorate degree in Psychiatric Nursing from an accredited college or university; active and unrestricted State of Iowa License to practice medicine2+ years experience practicing as a PMHNP-BC, strongly preferredKnowledge of regulatory standards governing care delivery and operationsProficient in the use of computers; experience with Electronic Health Records is preferredNystrom & Associates offers competitive compensation and a full benefits package including, but not limited to:Flexible schedules and no weekendsMedical, Dental, Vision, & Malpractice insurancePTO, Paid Holidays401K, HSA, FSAAnnual CME allowanceSalary Range:PMHNPs: $130,000 – 176,000*Final compensation details may vary as determined by education, experience, internal equity, and geographic location
