Job Description

Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available, offering the opportunity to support students in grades PreK through 8th in a dynamic educational setting. This position involves working virtually for the majority of the time, with required in-person assessments to provide comprehensive speech and language services. The focus is on serving students with Autism, those who are nonverbal, and individuals displaying severe behavioral challenges.Key Responsibilities:Deliver both push-in and push-out speech therapy services across 1-2 school sites.Conduct in-person assessments to accurately evaluate student needs.Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies to enhance student communication.Manage case documentation and billing through SEIS and SEIS billing systems.Support a diverse student population requiring specialized communication interventions.Qualifications and Experience:Valid SLP license (no waivers accepted).Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly in a school setting.Proficiency with AAC devices and techniques.Familiarity with managing cases involving Autism, nonverbal students, and severe behavioral challenges.Comfortable providing virtual services with required on-site assessments.Knowledge and experience using SEIS systems for documentation and billing.Location:This contract position serves students primarily in Huntington Beach, CA, with proximity to Long Beach, Anaheim, and San Clemente.This role offers an engaging and rewarding experience for SLPs passionate about making a significant difference in childrens lives through speech therapy across multiple school environments.
