Direct nursing care of residents encompasses planning, developing, organizing, implementing assessing, and evaluating the care of residents to ensure that the highest degree of quality care and regulatory compliance is maintained at all times.LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse:Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are indispensable members of our interdisciplinary team and are charged with managing the daily clinical regimen of each resident and sub-acute patient. Our LPNs enjoy a unique opportunity to gain extensive clinical experience and provide advanced care in a home-like setting.CNA - Certified Nursing AssistantCertified Nursing Assistants (CNA) provide personal and nursing care to meet the physical and emotional needs of residents in Elderwood skilled nursing facilities (SNF). They are under the direction of a licensed nurse. State specific certification is required.PT - Physical Therapist:Physical Therapy team members assist with ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing comprehensive and quality therapy services. This position is responsible for administering skilled physical therapy treatments ensuring that the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times.OT - Occupational Therapist:Occupational Therapy team members assist with ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing comprehensive and quality therapy services. This position is responsible for administering skilled occupational therapy treatments ensuring that the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times.COTA - Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant:COTA team members assist with ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by being responsible for carrying out occupational health treatments as developed and recommended by a Licensed Occupational Therapist.Qualifications:Credentials verifying appropriate certificate and license in New York State- RN, LPN, CNA, PT, SLP, OT, COTA, RT; current State license/Certificate required.Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing required.Qualities of maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with others required. Caring, respectful attitude toward residents required.Physical stamina for constant activity required.Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required.Demonstrated willingness to uphold the vision and mission of the company by following the core values of Integrity, Teamwork, and Passion for Excellence and Reverence for the Individual is required.These position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
