MDS Coordinator

SPRINGFIELD VILLA, located in Springfield, Missouri is currently seeking an MDS Coordinator to join our team.MDS Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities:Completing accurate assessments, MDS & care plans as assignedInitiating care plans and supporting activities as assignedCreating and distributing monthly care plan calendars in a timely fashionMaintaining & updating all care plans and assessments as requiredMonitoring & auditing clinical records, ensuring accuracy & timelinessInforming DON of persistent issues related to non-compliant documentationProtecting the confidentiality of Resident & Facility information at all timesParticipates in various meetings and committees: Medicare, QAPI, Weight Management etc.MDS Coordinator Qualifications and Skills:Valid RN or LPN LicenseKnowledge of skilled nursing facilities survey process and regulations would be helpful.Must have prior MDS ExperienceLong Term Care Experience RequiredMust be able to work 40 hours a weekMust be highly organized, professional & motivatedShould have solid computer skillsExcellent communication skillsShould be friendly and a team workerMDS Coordinator Benefits:Health, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceLong-Term and Short-Term DisabilityVacation and Paid Sick Time401KTuition ReimbursementINDT2
