If this sounds interesting to you, keep reading and let’s talk.Compensation RangeAnnual Salary: $70,500.00 - $83,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)About This JobThe main purpose of this job is to supervise staff and processes associated with clearance and settlement of stocks, bonds, and mutual fund trades, in both foreign and domestic markets.Essential FunctionsSupervise staff and processes associated with clearance and settlement of stocks, bonds, and mutual fund trades, in both foreign and domestic marketsProvide services for special assets such as Limited Partnerships, LLC's, LLP's Private placements, and hedge fundsOversee activities related to repurchase agreements and money market fund activitiesSupervise the processing of Certificates of Deposit for the Capital Markets GroupParticipate in the management of the FIS InTrader vendor relationship, including risk assessment completion and testing and implementation of custom enhancementsMonitor and direct all daily, weekly, and monthly settlement activity to ensure accurate and efficient processing within the areaManage liability to reduce risk of inaccurate settlement processing of stocks, bonds, mutual fund trades and ACM Settlement to avoid monetary risk, significant reputational risk with high net-worth clients, exposure to large fee losses from Trust Clients, and confidence risk with administrators and portfolio managersEnsure all compliance related requirements for Audit/Compliance are completed to ensure no violations occurDevelop comprehensive conversion and testing plans and successfully implement new enhancements with zero defectsOversee department workflow and effectively communicate decisions, priorities and relevant information to team membersProvide guidance to team members on departmental projects/issues, coach and develop training plans, lead development conversations and answer day-to-day questions for team membersPerform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities RequiredStrong knowledge in handling settlement of various types of securities instruments, Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds, Alternative Assets, and knowledge of Global Securities processing/settlement via industry depositories (DTCC, Federal Reserve, NSCC, State Street, and BNY Mellon)Ability to effectively oversee and coordinate the representation of trade settlement across multiple business lines in project related activitiesAbility to collaborate successfully with both administrative and portfolio managers to ensure Trust Client requirements are exceededAbility to recommend changes for process improvements and recognize project related cross-functional impactAbility to coach and develop team members with proven experience to build teams within area of influenceSelf-starter with strong decision-making skills and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of the company clearly expressing ideas and concepts both verbally and writtenAbility to remain adaptable and resilient in all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive show aligned with our culture and core valuesIntermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and OutlookEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required4+ years of Trust Operations Experience or equivalent required4+ years of experience within Financial Industry required3+ years of asset management experience required2+ years leadership experience requiredExperience in Management Reporting required***For individuals applying, assigned and/or hired to work in areas with pay transparency requirements, Commerce is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for some roles.
