South Sound Radiology (SSR) is looking for a full time Lead MRI/CT Technologist. Bring your expertise and initiative to a role where your skills will help lead the way in delivering top-tier outpatient imaging - working with newly installed, state-of-the-art MRI scanners. This is a full-time lead position that blends clinical excellence with team coordination and workflow management. This is a Monday-Friday, day shift and no call position.Location:Located in beautiful Olympia, Washington. Geographically located between the salt waters of the Puget Sound and the fresh waters of Budd Inlet and the Deschutes River. The South Sound offers stunning views of Mt. Rainier and the Olympic Mountain range. Whether you're looking to ski the slopes, hike adventurous trails or enjoy summer water sports, the PNW offers it all.Compensation:Hourly salary range $42.86/hour to $66.97/hour. The hourly rate is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status. Starts IVs and administers various contrast agentsProperly performs imaging to facility and ACR standardsAppropriately protocol all orders in advance of appointmentsProperly screen patients prior to scans for any precautions or contraindicationsProvides patient care services in a professional and compassionate mannerOrganizes and monitors patient flow to meet company productivity, quality, health and safety standardsAddress patient or workflow issues and escalate concerns as appropriateQualifications and Requirements:Graduate of a Radiologic Technology ProgramWashington State Radiologic Technologist – Diagnostic license required (Washington State X-Ray license, ARRT)Advanced registry in MRI requiredCurrent certification in Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR requiredOne year experience as a successful MRI tech preferredDemonstrates a professional demeanor in appearance and behavior in all work-related interactionsCOVID RequirementsTo protect physicians, employees, and patients of Radia from contracting COVID-19 and to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, Radia requires that all Health Care Setting Workers receive a COVID-19 vaccination, subject to the exemptions.
