Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs)

Meritus Health is seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team in both Home Health and Pediatric outpatient settings. In this role, you will provide comprehensive, evidence-based speech therapy services across a broad patient population—ranging from newborns to geriatrics. You’ll work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to assess, treat, and support patients in achieving their communication and swallowing goals.*Schedule:** Position located in Hagerstown, MD* Home Health: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 4:30PM* Pediatrics: Flexible shifts between 7:00AM – 6:00PM (Mon–Thurs), 7:00AM – 12:00PM (Fri)*Compensation & Benefits:** Salary Range: $82,201.60 – $123,302.40* Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance (coverage begins the 1st of the month after hire)* Company-paid Life Insurance and Disability* Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) program* 401(k) with company match* Tuition Reimbursement & Education Assistance* FSA & HSA options*Key Responsibilities:** Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders* Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices* Coordinate care with other therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members* Supervise students, as appropriate, per departmental and national standards* Maintain documentation and adhere to ethical standards of care*Qualifications:** Master’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program* Maryland SLP license (or temporary license while awaiting board exam/reciprocity)* Current BLS (CPR) certification* Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills* New grads welcome—must be able to perform job functions after a 3-month onboarding period*Locations:** *Home Health:* 1799 Howell Rd, Hagerstown, MD* *Pediatrics:* 13620 Crayton Blvd, Hagerstown, MD*About Meritus:*At Meritus, we foster a supportive, collaborative culture where every interaction is an opportunity to care, connect, and grow.
