Job Title: HVAC Service TechnicianLocation: Miami, FLJob Type: Full-timeCompensation: Competitive (Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance)About the Role:Our client is seeking a dedicated HVAC Service Technician to join their team in Miami, FL. This position involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical excellence, autonomy, and a strong commitment to customer service.Key Responsibilities:Installation:Install new HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductwork.Ensure compliance with regulatory and manufacturer guidelines.Conduct functionality testing and address initial installation issues.Maintenance:Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.Inspect systems and components; replace or repair as necessary.Maintain system efficiency and cleanliness.Diagnostics and Repairs:Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical HVAC issues.Replace or repair worn or faulty components.Adjust and calibrate controls for optimal performance.Client Communication:Explain technical findings and recommendations to clients.Offer guidance on system improvements and maintenance strategies.Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality service and responsiveness.Reporting & Compliance:Document all service work and maintain accurate records.Comply with all safety regulations and HVAC standards.Maintain a safe and organized work environment.Continual Learning & Mentorship:Stay updated on HVAC technologies and best practices.Participate in ongoing training.Mentor junior technicians as needed.Qualifications:Education & Certifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Completion of accredited HVAC training or apprenticeship.EPA 608 Certification required.Experience:2–5 years of HVAC service experience.Exposure to residential, commercial, or industrial systems preferred.Technical Proficiency:Familiarity with HVAC systems, diagnostic tools, and electrical schematics.Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving HVAC issues.Soft Skills:Strong communication and customer service skills.Time management and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Physical & Other Requirements:Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.Valid driver’s license with a clean record.Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotation.Preferred Skills (Not Required):Experience with energy-efficient HVAC technologies.NATE or other HVAC-related certifications.Familiarity with smart thermostat and home automation systems.At ttg, “We believe in making a difference One Person at a Time,” ttg OPT.IND2
