Aerospace Quality Production InspectorLocation: Enfield, CTType of work: OnsiteSchedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (First Shift)Type of contract: Contract (12-Month)Salary: $40- $43/hDescription:ttg Talent Solutions is partnering with a recognized leader in aerospace manufacturing and product development to identify a Quality Inspection Specialist. This is a hands-on contract role ideal for a quality-driven professional with aerospace experience who thrives in fast-paced, precision-focused environments.The successful candidate will be responsible for performing First Article Inspections (FAI), ensuring compliance with AS9100/AS9102, and managing quality interactions through customer systems and portals.Duties and Responsibilities:Execute First Article Inspections (FAI) in alignment with AS9102 standards for customer submission.Navigate and update customer quality systems and portals with inspection results.Review and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.Utilize inspection instruments including calipers, ring/pin gages, and optical comparators.Maintain accurate documentation and reports of nonconformances and corrective actions.Support quality control processes and maintain compliance with AS9100 requirements.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product conformance and timely resolution of issues.Requirements:5+ years of related work experience in aerospace inspection.Experience conducting First Article Inspections and managing customer quality requirements.Strong familiarity with AS9100/AS9102 standards.Demonstrated ability to work within customer portals and quality systems.Experience using precision measurement tools (calipers, ring/pin gages, comparator).Proficient in blueprint reading and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).Combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.1–3 years of supervisory experience (preferred, not required).Experience using Net-Inspect system is a plus.Understanding of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principlesSkills:Strong analytical and documentation skills.Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Experience working in regulated manufacturing industries (especially aerospace or defense).Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.ttg Talent Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer and recruiting agency.
