The role of the Shipping/Receiving Clerk involves initiating and facilitating the containment of any discrepant materials or non-conforming parts upon receipt. Additionally, you will assist in and support corrective actions that employ root cause analysis, as well as devise and implement effective corrective measures.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.Employing forklifts to assist in the loading and unloading of trailers; executing repetitive bending and lifting tasks of up to 50 pounds; showcasing problem-solving skills and effective communication capabilities; demonstrating proficiency in computer applications such as SAP and MS Office (Excel); and possessing the ability to understand instructions from receivers, routers, and work orders. Serve as a backup for the Receiving Desk. Collaborate with all departments to foster an environment that encourages partnerships and facilitates problem resolution.
