Job OverviewCitadel’s Settlement & Wire Operations Specialist is a subject matter expert responsible for the oversight, accuracy, and optimization of settlements associated with Citadel’s ATM, Debit, and Credit cards, as well as all incoming wire transfer activities. This role ensures compliance, operational resilience, and financial accuracy. The Specialist partners with internal departments and external vendors to resolve issues, improve processes, and maintain audit readiness.ResponsibilitiesServe as operational lead for all incoming wire transfers.Ensure full audit readiness and compliance for all wire, card, and ATM settlements.Perform and validate daily settlement adjustments between Citadel and its processor/network for ATM/Debit/Credit transactions and deposits.Oversee daily settlement and adjustment processing for all Citadel-owned ATMs via Star Station.Perform daily settlement of Cash Advance work and maintain GL accuracy for Retail Offices.Maintain and reconcile associated General Ledgers; analyze variances and resolve out-of-balance issues.Investigate and resolve discrepancies using STAR and core system reports.Process adjustments for ATM return checks.Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot software/system issues.Coordinate communication on wire transactions between Citadel, external vendors, and the Federal Reserve.Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards in all wire transfer procedures.Serve as subject matter expert on third-party systems including Fiserv, FIS and FedLine.Maintain accurate ATM listings and reporting for NYCE and internal stakeholders.Assist with ACH Returns, Reclamations, Disputes, and Wire system testing.Monitor and manage Lumin external transfer exceptions to ensure Fed file acceptanceRecommend and implement process enhancements for operational efficiency.Ensure all department procedures and online help documentation remain current and audit-ready.Mentor and support Payment Support team members with technical questions and escalation resolution.Provide cross-departmental guidance rooted in service, compliance, and risk awareness.Perform other duties as assignedQualifications and Education RequirementsWork ExperienceMinimum one year of experience with card settlements or card operations and wire transfers; three years preferred.Strong understanding of debits, credits and GL reconciliation.High proficiency with Microsoft Office/Windows, especially excel.Exceptional analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to manage high volumes and prioritize effectively.A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.
