Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or SLPA NearShreveport, LAWe are seeking a dedicated individual to provide comprehensive speech and language services to K-12 students, with a primary focus on elementary and middle school ages. This is a full-time or part-time position offering a manageable caseload and a supportive environment for both experienced professionals and those beginning their careers.Location:Near Shreveport, LouisianaEmployment Type: Full-TimeSchool Year: 2025-2026Caseload: K-12 students (primarily elementary and middle schoolers) - approximately 40 studentsWe are actively considering candidates at all stages of their career:CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)CF-SLP (Clinical Fellow - Speech-Language Pathology) - Supervision will be provided.SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant)Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders in K-12 students.Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students requiring speech and language services, aligning with state and federal regulations.Provide direct speech and language therapy to students individually or in small groups, utilizing evidence-based practices.Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, administrators, and other support staff to integrate speech and language goals into the overall educational program.Monitor and document student progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and preparing progress reports.Participate in IEP meetings, provide professional input, and advocate for student needs.Maintain accurate and confidential student records.Adhere to all district policies and professional ethical guidelines.(For SLPAs): Implement treatment plans developed by a supervising SLP, document student progress, and assist with other duties as assigned under direct supervision.Qualifications:For CCC-SLP: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active Louisiana SLP license with CCCs.For CF-SLP: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and eligibility for Louisiana provisional SLP license. Commitment to completing the Clinical Fellowship year.For SLPA: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., communication sciences and disorders) or an associate's degree in an SLPA program, and active Louisiana SLPA license or eligibility.Strong understanding of speech and language development, disorders, and assessment tools relevant to school-aged children.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student success.Experience working with K-12 students, particularly elementary and middle schoolers, is a plus.What We Offer:Full-time hours for the 2025-2026 school year.Manageable caseload of approximately 40 students.Supportive school environment and collaborative team.Opportunities for professional growth and development.For CF-SLPs: Dedicated supervision and mentorship to help you achieve your CCCs.Competitive weekly payand benefits.
