We are actively seeking dynamic SLPs to join our team in the Lawrence, Massachusetts area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on student communication development within a diverse and vibrant community.We have multiple needs across our district and are looking for SLPs to serve a K-12th grade caseload, with specific assignments tailored to your experience and expertise. Given that approximately 70% of our district's population is bilingual in Spanish, candidates who are bilingual in Spanish are strongly preferred and highly encouraged to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive speech and language services to students across a K-12th grade caseload (specific grade levels assigned based on experience and district need).Conduct thorough evaluations, interpret assessment results, and write compliant reports for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans tailored to student needs across various developmental stages and communication disorders.Deliver direct and indirect therapy services in individual, small group, and classroom-based settings.Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, special education staff, and other school personnel to integrate communication goals into daily learning and classroom activities.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress, therapy sessions, and IEPs, adhering to district and state guidelines.Participate in IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights and recommendations.Adapt therapy activities and strategies to suit the diverse needs and learning styles of students from elementary to high school.For bilingual SLPs: Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services and assessments to our Spanish-speaking student population.QualificationsMaster's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Valid and active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in the state of Massachusetts is REQUIRED.Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFYs) will be considered and may be provided with supervision.Prior experience working in a school setting with K-12 populations is highly desirable.Fluency in Spanish (both verbal and written) is strongly preferred.Strong understanding of the IEP process, special education law, and school-based service delivery models.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.Strong organizational and time management skills.A genuine commitment to fostering inclusive educational environments and empowering students to reach their full communication potential.To ApplyThank you!If you are a new graduate, please follow the link below for our CFY program:Carcamo770-225-3020
