Ensures all new and updated rules and regulations are communicated, understood, and implemented in a timely manner. Is a main resource for lending personnel for questions throughout the loan life-cycle process.Job DescriptionLOCATIONMountain America Center - In Office:9800 S Monroe StSandy, UT 84070SCHEDULEFull TimeTo be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully.Train new and existing team members in all aspects of the lending industry and MACU policies and proceduresFacilitate training and ongoing education for lending products, underwriting guidelines, loan regulations, compliance, MACU loan programs, and procedure changesGuide team members through company software and loan origination systems. Train to properly utilize systems for speed, accuracy, and ease of completing a loan application.Monitor, review, and report on progress of participants through daily check-ins, surveys and discussions with key managers in order to be strategic in development directionUnderstand the full loan process of origination, processing, underwriting, and closing of the lending area and be able to assist with questionsTeach and support team members by helping maintain critical knowledge and skills to build confidence in their field and provide exceptional member serviceProvide daily support for team members and act as a continuous resource of lending knowledgeMaintain professional working relationships with team members, managers, and other business unitsPrepare materials, equipment, facilities and all other components of training programCreate, monitor, and update content on knowledge center, as well as internal policies and programs, and maintain accuracy of materialConsult with subject matter experts and department managers of internal team and supporting areas to ensure development program content is accurate, effectively communicated, and objectives metCollaborate with course designers ensuring classes are consistent in design, including presentation materials, participant materials, facilitator materials, etc.Present information clearly and confidently to large and small groups, both in-person and remotelyPartner with stakeholders to assess skills’ gaps and create training programs, content, and presentationsUse reports and metrics to make recommendations to improve training programsPerform other duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIESExperience5 years professional experience in a progressive financial setting, working in a lending setting preferredAdvanced understanding of training and developmentKnowledge of Adult-learning theory and principles preferredEducationBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field or 3 additional combined years of experience in a progressive financial lending role, training role, or relevant experience.Licenses, Certifications, RegistrationsNo certifications requiredManagerial ResponsibilityHas no supervisory/managerial responsibilitiesComputer/Office Equipment SkillsAdvanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelExperience with various LOS systems such as ICE Encompass, Blend, Abrigo, etc. preferredLanguage SkillsDemonstrated ability to clearly express ideas, methodology, results and recommendations verbally, in writing and through insightful reports and graphic illustrationsDemonstrated ability to document outcomes and present information in a manner appropriate for key stakeholders and all levels of the organizationOther Skills and AbilitiesA significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.
