Required* *Certifications/Licensure:* Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina; National nursing certification in specialty or must be acquired within 6 months of hire into the role.*Job Summary:*Assists the Director of Nursing in the day-to-day leadership for the operations of patient care areas, which includes the planning, organizing, and coordinating of patient care delivery to meet established standards as well as developing and managing personnel and fiscal resources. Promotes a practice environment that empowers others to provide effective, compassionate and efficient patient care. Works with Director of Nursing and other nursing and non-nursing leaders to ensure quality services are provided to LMC patients and family members. Identifies best practices and works with team to implement measures to continually improve patient care. Works with leaders and staff through formal and informal processes to assure compliance with regulatory standards and research based practice guidelines.
