Responsible for evaluation, planning, treatment and consultation. Services include teaching dail living skills, developing perceptual-motor skills and sensory integrative functioning; developing play skills and prevocational and leisure capacities; designing, fabricating or applying selective orthotic and prosthetic devices or selective adaptive equipment. Utilizing therapeutic activities to enhance functional performance. Administering and interpreting test. Administering these specific modalities; hot/cold water, hot/cold packs, neutral warmth, quick icing, paraffin to the hand. Consulting in the adaptation of the environment for the handicapped. Services will be provided individually, in groups or through medical, health, educational and social systems. Ensures that all documentation is complete and dies not require reminders and/or excessive time to complete paperwork.Demonstrates competency with therapy intervention modalities, adaptive equipment and manual techniques.Establishes a safe therapy environment and operates equipment within standard guidelines.Involves patient, family and team members in plan of care and provides information, teaching and education based on identified need.Follows policy for consent or treatment, release of medical information, confidentiality and appropriate awareness of suspected abuse and take measures to document/report then accordingly.Employee binder up to date with competency forms, TB skin test, mask fit test, BLS and license.Assist with caseload management when you plan to be off and/or when caseload varies (do not seek out other areas to assist).Promotes a professional and positive image at times with coworkers, patients, families and other departments.Has met goals established for this year.ORGANIZATIONAL EXPECTATIONST.J PledgeI Will Show Compassion-see all patients, family members, coworkers, physicians, and anyone else at T.J. as my customer.-recognize that each and every interaction I have at T.J.
